Which meetings get a brief
External meetings on your Google Calendar get one about a day before. Here's what gets skipped.
Every 15 minutes, PrepMeet reads the next 7 days of your main Google Calendar. A meeting is external when at least one guest has an email domain different from yours.
The brief arrives about a day before the meeting. A meeting booked for later today gets its brief soon after it shows up on your calendar.
What doesn't get an automatic brief
- All-day events.
- Meetings with only people from your company.
- Meetings you declined, and canceled events. Guests who declined don't count either.
- Meetings where every outside guest uses a personal address, like Gmail, Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo or iCloud. They're usually colleagues or personal calls.
- Meetings whose brief failed. They wait for you. See Prepare now and Try again.
- Any meeting when you have no briefs left this month, or your trial or plan has ended.
